About Us
Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur was established in 2013 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after reconstituting the Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College, which was established in 1962. The University is located on the Gorakhpur-Deoria road, about 9 km from Gorakhpur Railway Station. In addition to UG programs in various engineering disciplines, the University also offers MCA, BBA, MBA, M.Tech, M.Sc., and Ph.D. courses in various specializations.

Entrepreneurship Cell
The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (E-Cell) at MMMUT fosters student innovation. We provide market exposure, resources, and mentorship—in collaboration with the Incubation Centre—to help transform promising ideas into successful startups that drive economic growth.
SAE Club
The SAE Collegiate Club at MMMUT is a hub for aspiring engineers. We design, build, and race off-road (BAJA), formula-style (SUPRA), and model aircraft (Aeromodelling) vehicles at national competitions. We also host TECHSRIJAN, Eastern Uttar Pradesh's largest technical fest, and are committed to social impact through educational charity initiatives.

Hostel Facilities
The University is a residential institution with seven boys' hostels and four girls' hostels. The hostels are well-furnished with necessary amenities and have 24x7 leased line Internet facility in every room. First-year students are provided with three/two-seater rooms, while senior students are provided with double and single-seated rooms depending on availability.
